Aims

The Religious Education Department is committed to providing a welcoming and caring environment which meets the spiritual, academic and social needs of all students. The Catholic values of compassion, inclusion and respect are fostered through a wide variety of opportunities and learning experiences that promote ‘caritas in action’.

Religious Education is a compulsory subject at Key Stage 3 and 4 and is a very popular choice at A-level. RE enjoys a high profile both within the College and the wider community, through liturgical assemblies, retreats and fundraising projects. John Paul 11 Award pupils play an active role in many parishes.
